Feeling utterly knackered after a session of acupuncture... but have so much reading still to do that I'll probably lie awake stressing about it.

Trying to work out how much nerdy, fun-only-to-me stuff I can cram in to my trip to DC on the two days before my partners in crime arrive. Because not everyone thinks touring the reading room at the Folger Shakespeare Library is fun...

The UK has voted to leave the EU.

Need a windfall, stat.

Resolving to lose weight is a little difficult when your colleague brings in homemade key lime pie because it's "almost your birthday".

(Was totally worth the extra kgs though)

Nearly missed my flight back at sparrows due to Sydney's abysmal traffic, but made it just in time. It's about 10 degrees colder here, so I'm missing the balmy Hawkesbury weather!

Only got to see an hour of the Tony Awards before we had to leave our weekend hideaway - so I have to wait a whole day to see all those awesome Hamilton performances for myself!!!

Perfect Saturday on the Hawkesbury.

Gorgeous sunny days but chilly nights up here on the Hawkesbury. Just as well we brought loads of red wine with us.

It's 11pm. I need to be up at 4:30am for a flight to Sydney. I've just arrived home from a gig, I need to pack and I'm in desperate need of a shower.

So this guy does a podcast that deconstructs every episode of The West Wing. In order. In detail. Every week. So of course I was geeking out like giddy up when I got to meet him tonight. Thanks for indulging my geekiness, Hrishikesh Hirway! 

A massive week ahead... but it culminates in a long, long weekend on the Hawkesbury with friends, so I think I can make it through without totally losing my mind... I hope.

Lazy Saturday... the laziest I've had in a looooooong time. Also, perfectly timed because the weather is miserable. 

My house is spotlessly clean for the first time in MONTHS. I even pulled down the venetian blinds in the kitchen and scrubbed them. Therefore I will feel NO GUILT WHATSOEVER in spending the entire weekend binge watching TV and reading trashy novels.

What I love about the 4 dancers in the Masters program at my uni, is that 3 of them don't fit the typical description of a dancer. Their work, however, is exceptional.

Just been surprised with an early birthday present...  flights to Sydney and a long weekend in a cabin in the mountains from three of my friends because "it's cheaper than all of us flying down to you".
