As I finish work at 10:30pm and head over to a friend's birthday drink, I am trying really hard not to think about the fact daylight savings pushes the clocks forward an hour at 2am, making my 8am work start time tomorrow effectively a 7am start time. Ugh.

Working a Fringe shift with co-workers who like to randomly dance behind the bar, are awesome fun. Thirsty Thursdays after work, catching up with old friends and making new ones, are also awesome fun.

My 98-year-old great-aunt has been diagnosed with acute leukaemia. Seriously. She's been perfectly healthy her entire life and at now, at 98, the universe decides that this is how she will exit the world. That's just outright, batshit bonkers.
