Movie Ticket Radio really is the greatest thing to listen to while I'm cooking (or cleaning, or eating, or just hanging out).  I don't know how I've lived without it so long.

Nice to finally see Richard Armitage on a giant screen instead of my TV... between his sexy, smouldering swagger and Martin Freeman's adorable innocence and humour, I was totally won over by The Hobbit!  (I did somehow miss the fact it's in three parts, however, so the ending left me a bit baffled until my companion set me straight).

My house is clean, the washing is done, my 2013 diary is personalised and I've finally started reading Dreams From My Father, which has been sitting on my coffee table for weeks. Today is a day to be grateful for the little things.

Friday night movies-at-home and mocktails with a just-returned-from-overseas friend is the best way to end a crazy work week.

Apparently someone at another ticketing company has decided my ticketing tales blog is "unprofessional" and is threatening to report me to my company.  Clearly they have some vendetta against me (I don't know why, but I have a strong suspicion who it is), however while I go through that blog with a fine tooth comb to ensure there's nothing that could get me into trouble, I've parked it, sparking a storm of protest from people I didn't even know read that blog!   There are some petty people in the world, that's for sure.

Back at pilates for the first time this year... feels good!

First day of a new year and I spend it working. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come!
