Hello Sydney. Nice day for a catch-up lunch with some old mates and an evening wedding of another.

Working a full day on 2 hours sleep is never fun... an early night methinks.

Today's Artist Date consisted of a trip to the paint store (Milk Paint. It's a thing. Really.) where I ran into a Prue & Trude (my suburb is full of them!); followed by a trip to the library to browse through books written to tell me how refinish furniture using said milk paint. Sounds weird, I know, but it was a FUN two hours.

Oh and the two and a half hour Skype with the British-Belgian Bestie was fun too.

Bastard workmen destroyed my jasmine. DESTROYED.  Bastards.

InDesign, you are my bitch.  Never used it before today, yet I've managed to produce two 10+ page theatre programs and a poster.

WINNING.




PS - I love this job. Paid to create. What more could you ask?

Haters gonna hate, but I stand by my call that The Newsroom finale was awesome. Sloan Sabbith and Leona Lansing are my heroes.

A lovely lunch, an excellent piece of theatre and a Skype with my creative cluster. Plus, some more work on the book.  Sunday, you get a big ol' tick and a smiley face.
