At the moment, most days, I don't enjoy my job. And today was no exception. But tonight, as part of my "work", I got to meet and have a photo taken with a performer I've loved since my childhood. It's then I think "yeah, this job has its upsides".

King Kong at the Regent Theatre. I wouldn't necessarily call it a musical (and the book is pants), but most of the music is brilliant and visually? Oh. My. Goodness. AMAZING.

Downside of a less-than-24-hour trip to Radders: working until after midnight, then having to be up at 6am for a flight home, then going straight to work and working until 7.30pm. I'm going to bed.

Supposed to be packing for a work trip to Radders tomorrow. So far all I've done is downloaded the first ten eps of the new season of Arrested Development to my iPad for watching on the plane...

I do wonder sometimes if I'm actually cut out for this "being a grown-up" malarkey. Mostly when it comes to the "managing your finances" part. I've no more financial nouse than a five year old.
