The last of the conference people left today... now we can get on with some actual work...

Electricity went off at 9pm... Internet has been sporadic since. At least the water's still on and my iPad's fullly charged so I can get onto my kindle app and read for a bit!

Had just finished my swim at Steak House's pool this morning, when another earthquake hit, reminding me that the same thing happened last week! Guess it's quite common in these parts... 

We have a new rat. This one is even more bolshi than the last one... he's actively seeking out the sachets of poison and munching through them like they were candies. Little bugger.

The electricity has gone off at least four times today already and it's only 3.40pm. Ah, the rural life...

Well, that's a wrap on the 10th OURMedia conference in Goroka. Now I get to hang in PNG for another five weeks and do fun stuff like visiting local villages and catching up on reading. And sleeping. I could probably spend a whole week sleeping...
