Attending the launch of a new musical is always intriguing, but when that musical involves a six metre high animatronic gorilla, over 40 performers and musical contributions from Marius De Vries, Sarah McLachlan, Guy Garvey (Elbow) and Massive Attack, you know it's going to be... epic. King Kong epic.
