It's amazing what a looming deadline can do for your motivation levels when it comes to doing really, really dull tasks like writing your own job description for a job you've been doing for over two years. (Because apparently, it's not HR's job to do it, unlike back in my HR days when all I seemed to ever do was write job descriptions.)
